The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate deck measures 72" W x 18" D x 60" H and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The shelving system includes open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization of storage space. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Construction utilizes double rivet button stud joints to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine surface decking that is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
