The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and offers durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the system allows four-side access with an open design for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing, including 2" x 1-1/2" uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate sway and provide structural security. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel framework, and the shelving includes sturdy precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
