The SC Preferred™ 4-shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving includes durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The steel framing is roll-formed for maximum support and finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The shelf decking consists of smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
