The SC Preferred 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage configurations, and the open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes a starter unit with rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to prevent sway and rotation under load. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes front-to-back supports for additional beam stability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces.
