The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving unit features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing structural security by locking perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The open shelf design offers four-side access and adjustable shelves, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the unit includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The shelving is available in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area.
