The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The shelving unit features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, providing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The finish is chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and each shelf features sturdy, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking for a cost-effective solid surface.
