The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The finish is chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the solid decking consists of precut 5/8" thick particleboard. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
