The SC Preferred™ 5-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security and to eliminate sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The package contains sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
