The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, preventing rotation and sway. The open design allows four-side access and the front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The particleboard decking is 5/8" thick, chip resistant, gray baked enamel finished, and ships in two pieces. The framing is made of sturdy roll-formed steel with a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish, providing a structurally secure and cost-effective solid decking solution.
