The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, maximizing storage with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility. It features a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The heavy duty roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in, boltless components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The package includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface for storage.
