The SC Preferred 5-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial facilities, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, allowing open shelves to be easily adjusted. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security and elimination of back and side sway. Equipped with a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish, the unit features smooth, sturdy, and cost-effective 5/8" thick precut particleboard decking shipped in two pieces. Assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick and easy setup, and the open design offers four side access for maximum flexibility.
