The SC Preferred 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity, with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit and package include rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking provides cost-effective, solid shelving and ships in two pieces. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the snap-in, boltless components enable easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and the double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security, eliminating back and side sway.
