The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing versatility in storage configurations. The kit includes sturdy 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The shelving frame is constructed from roll-formed steel with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The particleboard decking is smooth, precut, 5/8" thick, chip resistant, and finished with a gray baked enamel coating; the particle board ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
