The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for versatile configuration, and the unit features an easy assembly process requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing, the shelving provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The shelves feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the durable wood decking consists of smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard that ships in two pieces for cost-effective solid decking.
