The SC Preferred 3 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. The shelving unit features open shelves that adjust in 1" increments for flexible storage options across various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any area. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The structure is made from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams locking securely into the corner posts, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while wire decking improves ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks to enhance fire safety. Each starter unit includes wire decking and particle board, which ships in two pieces.
