The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suited for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the wire decking permits ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage, enhancing fire safety. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
