The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexible storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts, providing structural security and eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through racks easily to improve fire safety. Assembly is easy and tool-free, with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full loads. Particle board ships in two pieces. Warranty terms apply.
