The SC Preferred 2 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate deck measures 96" W x 48" D x 36" H and is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, while easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. Expansion is facilitated by joining units for greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The structure includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine laminate deck with pre-cut square edging provide durability; the deck is white/laminated. The particle board ships in two pieces. The product carries a warranty protecting against factory defects.
