The SC Preferred™ 3-shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, offering versatile storage solutions with an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, with double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving is made from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, while the decking consists of smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard that ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
