The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to fit various storage needs. The package includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway for structural stability. The sturdily roll-formed steel framing has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The kit includes a precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking in two pieces for solid support. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four-sided access and units can be joined for expansion with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
