The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, along with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving system offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
