The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing adaptable storage with four-side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and double rivet button stud construction lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The entire unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and features easy assembly with snap-in components that require no bolts, nuts, or clips.
