The SC Preferred 3-shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is engineered to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the entire assembly is designed for easy installation with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The framing is made from sturdy roll-formed steel with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation, and double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams to corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Particle board included in the package ships in two pieces.
