The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexibility to fit various heights, widths, and depths. The shelving unit offers an open design for four side access and includes easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, the system employs double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, while wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass easily through racks to enhance fire safety. The particle board ships in two pieces.
