The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The shelving features durable and adaptable roll-formed steel framing with chip resistant gray baked enamel finish, providing sturdy support with front-to-back beams that prevent rotation under full load. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments using double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint and eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The kit offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design benefits from four side access for maximum flexibility, and the shelving units can be joined for expanded stability with less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
