The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips for easy assembly. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four sided access for maximum flexibility, and wire decking permits ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. The shelving unit has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and comes in various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility layout.
