The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking shipped in two pieces. The open shelves provide four-side access and are adjustable in 1" increments. The roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into corner posts eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the design allows for seamless expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction complexity than bolting two starter units together.
