The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage, and the kit includes chip-resistant, gray baked enamel finish beams and a precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking shipped in two pieces for cost-effective solid support. The open design allows access from all four sides, and the assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Front-to-back supports add stability by preventing beam rotation under full load.
