The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, enabling flexible storage configurations. The shelving unit features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing, it provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights that are punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Decking must be ordered separately.
