The SC Preferred 2-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial storage, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four side access for maximum flexibility. The unit includes snap-in components for easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and the double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The particle board ships in two pieces.
