The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and features adjustable open shelves in 1" increments for versatile storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for enhanced fire safety. The shelving system employs sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and it has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips due to snap-in components, and the open design provides four-sided access. The particle board component ships in two pieces.
