The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
