The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, the open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and wire decking that provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout for improved fire safety. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts forming structurally secure joints and eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is facilitated by joining units for more stability with less construction than bolting starter units. Particle board ships in two pieces.
