The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate deck measures 72" W x 30" D x 48" H and is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It features a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The laminate deck is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, made of stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface on a chip resistant gray baked enamel finished steel frame. The shelving unit’s sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" intervals. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing expansion with more stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The particle board ships in two pieces.
