The SC Preferred™ 2-shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial environments, with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, as well as double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts to form secure joints, preventing back and side sway. The roll-formed steel framing is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips due to the snap-in design. The shelves incorporate sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces.
