The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, offering a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for versatile storage configurations. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The gray chip-resistant baked enamel finish ensures durability, while the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking provides a cost-effective solid surface. The particleboard ships in two pieces.
