The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces. The open shelves provide four-side access and adjust easily in 1" increments to adapt to various storage needs. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form structurally secure joints eliminating back and side sway. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the dimensions are adaptable to various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility.
