The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various needs. The shelving unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking is cost-effective and ships in two pieces.
