The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking features a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various storage needs. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security and elimination of back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The frame consists of sturdy roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, while the decking is made from sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard shipped in two pieces for solid, cost-effective storage. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility.
