The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The package features sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces, finished with chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The shelving offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility.
