The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for four-side access and maximum flexibility. The shelving has a sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The kit includes easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The finish is chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the decking is cost-effective, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces.
