The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard solid decking ships in two pieces for cost-effectiveness.
