The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Add-On with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments, with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features adjustable open shelves that can be set at 1" increments, allowing for versatile storage configurations. The unit is constructed with durable roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support, including front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking provides a cost-effective solid surface, shipping in two pieces. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components allowing for quick set-up and stable expansion by joining units, requiring less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
