The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments. The open design provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components instead. This add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway, creating a stable joint. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The shelves are supported by sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
