The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The structure uses double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves provide four-side access for flexibility and are adjustable in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water passage to improve fire safety. The shelving is easy to assemble without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for expansion and stability. Particle board ships in two pieces.
