The SC Preferred 2 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable construction with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the unit, while wire decking permits ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
