The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature wire decking for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. The shelving is made of sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
