The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is engineered for retail, industrial, and commercial storage applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The unit features durable roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" uprights punched on 1" centers, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to provide structural security and eliminate back and side sway. Open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments with double riveted horizontal beams and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The package includes snap-in components for easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, and a rugged chip resistant gray baked enamel finish. Storage surfaces have precut, smooth, 5/8" thick particleboard decking shipped in two pieces to provide a cost-effective and solid platform.
