The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes a starter unit with rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically in 1" increments, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks beams into corner posts for structural stability and sway elimination. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Particle board ships in two pieces.
