The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible arrangement. Assembly is straightforward with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under load. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
